Kasselakis: From the darkness of worthlessness and impunity, to the light of hope and democracy – 2024-05-06 18:47:59

On Easter Sunday, the president of SYRIZA Stefanos Kasselakis made a ceremonial visit to the Corfu Naval Station where he exchanged greetings and rattled red eggs with sailors and officers.

Mr. Kasselakis was welcomed by the Commander of the Naval Station Admiral Giorgos Papachristos, who informed him about the structures and operational capabilities in Corfu.

Addressing the sailors, the president of SYRIZA-PS emphasized the need for a new, modernized term framework, with decent pay for conscripts, while he said that SYRIZA-PS is working on a relevant proposal for a law which he will submit to the Parliament in the next period.

Stefanos Kasselakis performed Resurrection in the central square of Corfu where he exchanged wishes with the people.

“Together to change the country”

The president of SYRIZA-PS sent his own message after the service of the Resurrection in Corfu.

“Hello from Corfu, the island of the Phaeacians, where I am for the days of Easter, to celebrate the most important holiday of Orthodoxy. The Resurrection, the transition from darkness to light. That is exactly what I have seen so many people tell me. We are together to change our country. We have to change. From the darkness of unworthiness and impunity, to the light of hope, meritocracy, justice, democracy and peace.

I wish with all my heart to each and every one of you, wherever you are in the world, Happy Birthday, Happy Easter and Christ is Risen.”
