Stefanos Kasselakis was in Edessa on Friday night where he had a conversation and had dinner with SYRIZA executives.
Stefanos Kasselakis noted once again that his goal is to bring the members of the party to a central position in the political process, underlining that SYRIZA must become a party that will give strength and voice to society.
Afterwards, he answered questions and talked about the important role of teachers. He emphasized that teachers are fundamental pillars of society, transferring knowledge and values to young people. He underlined the importance of strengthening the education system, with an emphasis on innovation, professional education and the continuous training of teachers.
Stefanos Kasselakis concluded by saying that the empowerment of teachers is a simple but decisive condition for the creation of a strong and united society.
On Saturday he visited the campus of the University of Western Macedonia in order to meet with the rector, Mr. Thodoros Theodoulidis.
