Stefanos Kasselakis gave an interview to NERA’s First Program on Friday (9/8). The president of SYRIZA was placed, among other things, in the wiretapping scandal, the recent developments of which confirm, according to Koumoundourou, the degradation of the rule of law in the country.
According to the official opposition, the filing of the case by the Supreme Court with the simultaneous disassociation of the EYP with the Predator, are not only signs, but absolute evidence of the extensive cover-up effort.
“I don’t think so such an inquiry ends at this point without purpose. I think these people are very intelligent, they know their work very well” answered Stefanos Kasselakis to the relevant question that was put to him implying an obvious influence of the judges by the government.
“What was done in the Predator investigation, i.e. 27 targets, a third of the targets in essence, to coincide between Predator and EYP and everyone knowing that there was a single center in Maximos under the prime minister’s nephew, who is also asking for the rest online when this decision was made, insults the intelligence of all Greeks and concerns all Greeks,” the SYRIZA leader then argued.
He concluded by saying that “when something like this happens to one person, it can happen everywhere”.
“Is Kasselakis the cause of all the suffering?”
In the same interview, Mr. Kasselakis described Adonis Georgiadis as the “Minister of Health Dissolution”, said about Alexis Tsipras that “any disagreements” concern “the management of the party lately, not the SYRIZA government” and announced that he intends to to present “the modern left-wing proposal”, in which it seems that PaSoK does not fit, regardless of leadership.
In the finale, he rhetorically questioned whether “36-year-old Stefanos Kasselakis is the cause of the country’s woes” and whether “the compact pool of 20 in place of the pre-existing reservoir shows something about where the country should go”.
