The decision of the Supreme Court not to associate EYP with the Predator malware found Stefanos Kasselakis alert.
Writing as a simple “Greek citizen”, as the president of SYRIZA mentioned, he spoke of trust that was shaken and the need for modifications in the selection of high-ranking judges, leaving edges for cover-up, due to the dependence of persons on the government.
“Today, with the decision to archive the EYP-Predator scandal, my trust in the Greek Justice system has been seriously shaken,” he initially noted.
“Unfortunately”, according to Stefanos Kasselakis, “this is now identified with the widespread feeling of the Greek people that Justice is not the last refuge of the wronged”.
“That’s why”, and as he recalled in his post concluding, “one of the first proposals I have put forward to the Greek people is the radical change in the way the leadership of the Justice is appointed, so that it is freed from the suffocating embrace and dependence on the respective government”.
