Kasikorn Bank views the movement of the baht at the level of 34.20-34.90 baht per dollar next week (25-28 Dec.)On Friday, December 22, 2023, the baht closed at 34.58 baht per dollar compared to 34.84 baht per dollar. On the previous Friday (Dec. 15), for the investment portfolio status of foreign investors between 18-22 Dec. 2023, foreign investors net sold Thai stocks of 3,713 million baht and had a net status. Outflows from the Thai bond market amounted to 13,035 million baht (net sales of bonds of 6,144 million baht and 6,892 million baht of expired debt instruments).
sideKasikorn Securities Company Limited (SEC) views that the Thai stock index has support levels at 1,390 and 1,370 points, while resistance levels are at 1,430 and 1,450 points, respectively, next week (25-28 Dec.). On Friday, Dec. 22, the SET Index closed at 1,405.09 points, an increase of 1.01% from the level at the end of the previous week.
