Kashmiri-Palestinian couple launch website to help identify brands that support Israel United States-based Nadia and her Kashmiri husband Shehzad launched the website called ‘DisOccupied’. Nadia and Shehzad stand with the Palestinians by launching their website as many organizations and activists around the world boycott Israel and the brands that support it, which is committing genocide in Gaza. A search of various brand names on the website will show ‘do not buy’ if they support Israel. And they will tell you the brands that can be used instead.

TRT World released the couple’s interview the other day. She said in the interview that the website was built as part of an effort to stand with the Palestinians beyond sharing photos on social media. She also stated that she spent hours identifying companies that support the American-Israeli Political Action Committee (AIPAC).
Emphasizing the importance of the month of Ramadan, Shehzad urged people to evaluate their purchases. Nadia supported her husband’s statement that ‘giving zakat (to Israel-backed organizations) could lead to supporting companies involved in genocide’.
Shehzad also highlighted that Zionist organizations primarily use private capital for illegal Israeli settlements. It is in this context that a new website has been launched to reveal the brands that support Israel.
Starting October 7, 2023, many people around the world will refrain from buying Israeli products. The boycott is aimed at urging Israel to end its actions that harm innocent Muslims, including evictions from its own country and attacks. On October 7, Israel launched a brutal military operation in the Gaza Strip following an attack led by Hamas. More than 32,000 Palestinians including women and children were killed. 75,092 people were injured.
