Straelen The training event “Karrierekick Straelen” takes place in August in the Bofrost Hall. Students and companies can register now.
After several postponements and a two-year break from face-to-face events, the training event “Karrierekick Straelen” should finally be something. The organizers of the “Aus Straelen” association, the Straelen business development agency and the supporting company Clever Lead GmbH are confident that a unique trade fair event will be possible in the summer. On Saturday, August 20, the “career kick” starts in the Bofrost Hall in Straelen.

The basis is a big table football tournament. 25 foosball tables as well as XXL and speed foosball tables will be set up in the hall. Representatives of 70 training companies and up to 200 students can talk to each other at the table during the tournament and gather common, connecting experiences. Other walkers are welcome.

“We are specifically addressing the schools in the Straelen region to invite those students who are looking for an apprenticeship for 2023,” explains Constanze Drescher from Clever Leading GmbH in Straelen, which actively supports the organizers with the organization. Starting in March, students can use a binding link to register for one of the coveted starting places and receive immediate access to the event’s own app.

The composition of the team is random and is drawn anew in each round. This ensures that one student always plays in a team with a representative of the company. “This automatically and playfully leads to getting to know each other,” says Marta Sommerkamp from the organizing club “Aus Straelen”. “Young people and training companies meet at eye level at the table football table,” adds Straelen’s business promoter Uwe Bons. The random principle results in many interesting opportunities and suggestions for discovering new job profiles and finding your way around. All companies are also represented with a small information desk and are also available to talk to parents away from the table football.

Every participating company already has free access to the event job board. All training positions at the participating companies are made available to potential applicants here.

On the evening before, Friday, August 19th, a network training camp with tryouts and a small snack is planned for the participating companies.

The participation fee for member companies of “Aus Straelen” is 50 euros and for non-members 200 euros.
