There is no doubt that 2022 was a big year for the rap duo Karpe, which consists of Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid (38) and Chirag Rashmikant Patel (39).
During the year, they received a dozen awards, filled Oslo Spektrum a full ten times, and not least they carried out their very first European tour. With that, there are many indications that 2022 can be said to have been their biggest year to date.

With that said, the rap duo can probably also laugh all the way to the bank after putting a summer full of concert performances behind them. Now it appears that Patel has invested in a new apartment in the capital after the jubilee year.
Two-storey penthouse
According to documents Nettavisen has access to, Patel’s new home is on the popular St. Hanshaugen in Oslo. The neighborhood boasts a variety of shops, bars, cafes, parks and restaurants.
According to what Nettavisen learns, the rapper’s new home is a stylish top-floor apartment that spans two levels with three bedrooms, two balconies and a separate dormitory.

The 122 square meter apartment was built in 2020, and has a large living room, two bathrooms and an attic floor. In addition, it comes with a newly refurbished dormitory which can also be returned as an office, or a music studio for Patel’s sake.
The penthouse was out for an asking price of NOK 13.5 million, but according to documents Nettavisen has bought the Patel apartment for NOK 300,000 under the asking price, i.e. NOK 13.2 million.
As mentioned, the apartment also has an attic floor with a master suite with a bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet in a suite solution, in addition to a TV room and access to a loft with a sleeping alcove.
Historic year
As mentioned, 2022 was a big year for Karpe. In August last year, they carried out their biggest project so far. Ten times they filled Oslo Spektrum, and both the fans and reviewers were ecstatic. VG rolled a six on the die, while The daily newspaper and Aftenposten gave fives.
Not only that, the rap duo recently completed their very first European tour. They then performed concerts in 20 European cities over the course of two months.
