— What is your opinion about the transfers of Sergei Sidorchuk and Denis Garmash?

— The Belgian Championship is a championship of a decent level. Both Sidorchuk and Garmash are already ending their careers. Why not play for a year or two for fun? The Croatian Championship is of a weaker level, but this does not change the role significantly. In general, I recommend football players to play as long as possible. Because then everyday life will come when no one needs you and it will be bad.

— Will the UPL level remain unchanged in the near future?

— It’s good, in general, that we still have football, that matches are held in the Major League, and in the first and second. We need to get through this difficult time. If it all stops, there will be a collapse. We need to educate young football players. They now have every chance to realize themselves, they just need to change their mentality and move forward as quickly as possible.

So far, our clubs cannot compete with middle-class European teams. Therefore, we have such results. Claims against Lucescu? This is not surprising – as soon as the team loses, the coach is to blame for everything. However, to show good results, you need football players. At Shakhtar, Lucescu had serious players – there was a result. Everything is interconnected. Lucescu’s dismissal from Dynamo will not change anything.

— What are Shakhtar’s chances of qualifying from the group?

— If he takes third place, it will be very good.
