Karolin Ohlsson stamped incorrectly at one of the inspections and was washed. The qualifying groups have different course sections and Ohlsson stamped the control of another section.
Tove Alexandersson was the fastest in her qualifying group and is the favorite for an eleventh straight World Cup gold. Challenges are, among others, Lina Strand, 16 seconds behind Alexandersson in the qualifiers, whose first leg in the relay paved the way for the Swedish gold.
Other Swedish runners to move on are Sara Hagström, Jonatan Gustafsson, August Mollén and Martin Regborn.
Both Isac von Krusenstierna and Emil Svensk competed in the qualifiers.
