“Karnataka CM Swearing-In Ceremony: List of Invited CMs and Opposition Leaders”

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has not been invited to the swearing-in ceremony of the Karnataka Cabinet. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also not been invited. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin was invited to the function.

Apart from Stalin, NCP chief Sharad Pawar, former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Bagel, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will also participate in the swearing-in ceremony. CPI General Secretary D. Raja has also received an invitation.

The Congress informed that the presidents of the opposition parties have been invited. The party also clarified that the invited Chief Ministers are the presidents of their respective parties.
The Chief Minister and 19 ministers will take oath in Bengaluru on Saturday. There will be four ministers each from the Lingayat and Vokkaliga communities and three ministers from the Muslim community. Indications are that five candidates from the Dalit community are also likely.
