Kārlis Kazāks / Article will become the director of the “pieci.lv” program

Taking up the new position and thinking about the development of Latvijas Radio 5 – “pieci.lv” program, Kazāks believes that it is necessary to continue to give the opportunity to perform and develop music, poetry and other art trends created in Latvia, not only playing the latest music, but also informing listeners about important developments in cultural life.

Latvijas Radio noted that Kazaks has extensive professional experience. He has expressed his creative competencies in creating and performing music, creating and directing television programs, composing texts, etc. Also, since 2020, Kazaks has also been the President of the Council of the Latvian Authors’ Association members’ interests in the field of copyright. Kazaks has a master’s degree in engineering from Riga Technical University.
