Karlīna and Artūrs Jenots offers a song written in “RigaLive” camp – Video / Audio – Music – Culture +

The overall idea of the song was created by Artūrs Jenotas (formerly known as Ipstens Kūns), and for about a month and a half it reminded of itself from time to time, but the moment this trio came together – Artūrs, Armands and Karlīna, this idea became more . The authors reveal: “We understood at the moment, and already during the first hour of work it was clear what we wanted to create. Everything can be heard in the song – the city, nature, relationships, recreation, problems and light. ”

The message of the song is directly expressed in its words: “You can beat me, I can fall, but I will not break.” It is about relationships and parallels in relationships. About how painful, complicated they can sometimes be, about how much we allow in them. We can endure a great deal, and even in the “days when it rains,” it’s up to us to think – will we be able to see the good and endure? Although the song has different meanings and interpretations, the authors hope that each listener will be able to take the most important thing and understand it in the way they feel at the moment.

“Meeting such a work process with strangers is a great way to get out of your comfort zone. At first I was afraid if we couldn’t understand because we didn’t know each other. It was hard to open at first, but it seems to me that we were mystically put together in a very good team. Communication was easy and fluent, there were no quarrels, scabies or misunderstandings when writing this piece. My team was wonderful. Arthur Raccoon – I would say that he is a poet that makes him very special. He is very lyrical and emotional, as well as true to what he writes, very positive, creative and talented. Armands Varslavāns, on the other hand, is a musician who is always looking for new means of expression in music, he has his own taste and quite a lot of self-criticism, so together we experimented in every way. And we all believe that we succeeded – the composition is different, ”reveals Karlīna.

“Mars was retrograde, and we met at the right place and time, in the right weather and with the right words in our pockets,” describes Artūrs Jenots in the songwriting process.
