Karl Anderson hints at where he will be going following his WWE release

It looks like Karl Anderson already his next steps mapped out for his wrestling career after it was announced on Wednesday that he was one of many WWE stars who were released due to budget cuts.

Anderson posted a video on Twitter that seems to imply that Tokyo, Japan is his next destination. Obviously, with his history with New Japan Pro Wrestling, it would seem like a no brainer for him to wrestle for them again when they start running shows on a full-time basis.

The belief is that the main roster talent are under a 90-day non-compete so whatever he decides to do may have to wait until July when the non-compete expires. Anderson (and probably Luke Gallows) will probably draw interest from All Elite Wrestling if Tony Khan is looking to spend money on talent. Several top stars in AEW have clauses in their contracts that allow them to work for NJPW so AEW is still a very real possibility.
