Malappuram: Thousands of expatriate Keralites are in distress as flights to Oman, Jeddah and Kuwait have been suspended and borders closed in the wake of the coup. Five services from Kuwait, Oman and Jeddah to Karipur were canceled on Wednesday. Air India Express flight A11916 from Jeddah to Karipur and two Air India flights from Riyadh to Kuwait to Karipur were canceled. Salam Airways flights 0V7743 and OV7744 scheduled to depart from Muscat, Oman were also canceled. Seven flights from Jeddah, Kuwait and Oman to Karipur have been canceled today and tomorrow.
