Along with Manuela, Karell, 41, an organic poultry producer and cow breeder, is the only woman who agreed to take part in the seduction game this year. The farmer has a rather unusual background. She left her job in the administration to get involved in livestock farming out of conviction, as she had indicated in her profile. “I didn’t eat meat anymore, I was a vegetarian for fifteen years and I said, I will eat meat again, the day I am able to produce it from A to Z, including slaughtering”, she explained to Karine Le Marchand. She confided that her beginnings on the farm had been rather difficult and that she had even thought about stopping everything.I didn’t know what a cow was. I took over a farm that wasn’t at all the one I have today. I didn’t have a livestock building when I settled in. Cows outside in winter. First winter, -18° for three weeks, I couldn’t bring up the water,” she had remembered. But despite her desire to give up everything, she persevered.

During his speed-dating sessions, Karell had a real crush for Claude, the Breton, but also for Alexandre, who will both join her at the farm. But some suitors have not caught her attention, like Laurent, a naturalist technician in the Landes. “He looks a bit like that singer. But although the latter thought that they had had a real exchange with the farmer, Karell preferred to cut their exchange short and move on to something else. “I struggled with the discussion, he didn’t look me in the eye, but I tried to catch his eye.
