The music and lyrics of the song were created by Katrīna in collaboration with the musician Kaspars Ansons, who is also the producer of this recording.
A single video has also been made for the single, as Elvis Lācis was entrusted with directing and editing. The clip visualizes the story of the song and shows that we can smile and live a colorful life alone. The choice to delete pictures from the past a day later may seem like a mistake, but you still have to move forward.
Katrīna’s style in the video was created by Anna Elizabete Kasparsone, and make-up by Agate Anna Auziņa.
The song “Delīt” is the first single after a long break. In 2020, Katrīna participated in the songwriters ‘and performers’ competition “Supernova” with the song “I will break your heart”, later she released the song “What was it?”, Which she sang in a duet with Kristaps Zvani.
This song was written at the music writing camp “RIGaLIVE” organized by the Latvian Music Development Association / Latvian Music Export. During the camp, Katrīna also met the musician and producer Kaspars Ansons, with whom he has established a great collaboration.
