Karimanski: The euro is a closed page

Due to the actions of the 48th National Assembly, Bulgaria will not enter the Eurozone on January 1, 2024.

“After the end of the parliament and the disgrace it brought, not to abide by its own decision, the euro must now be a closed page. It is not known how long. Not only from the actions of the 48th National Assembly, but also from the way the next executive power will be sustainable in observing and implementing the budgets of the 49th National Assembly,” said one of the leaders of the “Together” coalition Lyubomir Karimanski in the studio of Bulgaria ON AIR.

Karimanski stated that one of the reasons for the common political project – coalition “Together” is the consumer protection law.

“We want the consumer bill to be changed as soon as possible. We can only expand the functions. We can make it so that the prices are coordinated between all participants and the economic and inflationary processes in the country are respected,” he explained and emphasized that coalition “Together” will seek control.

Karimanski expressed confidence that they will enter the 49th National Assembly. “In the last two years, there was a political impasse. This must stop. The project was initiated by Mrs. Iva Miteva and me. We want it to attract people with awareness,” the guest pointed out.
