French footballer Karim Benzema tested positive for coronavirus.
The Real Madrid striker was scheduled to take part in the Spanish team’s summer training for the new season on Friday after a short vacation he managed to take after EURO 2020. Instead, he ended up in quarantine, the dpa agency reported.
Real Madrid will enter the new La Liga season on August 14 with a match at Deportiva Alaves.
