French star Karim Benzema posted a tweet about the war in Gaza, which received more than 8 million views in less than an hour.
Benzema showed sympathy for the people of Gaza, in a tweet on the “X” website, which received tremendous interaction from his followers.
Benzema wrote: “All our prayers go out to the residents of Gaza, who have once again become victims of the unjust bombing, which leaves no child or woman behind.”
This is the first tweet from the French star since the escalation began in Gaza a week ago.
In the first hour of its publication on Sunday evening, the Saudi Al-Ittihad star’s tweet received 8 million views, 200,000 “likes,” 80,000 “reposts,” and 28,000 comments.
A number of players recorded a similar position to Benzema, most notably the Moroccan Noussair Mazraoui, the German player for Bayern Munich, Hakim Ziyech, the Turkish star of Galatasaray, and the Egyptian Mohamed Elneny, the English player for Arsenal.
