French star Karim Benzema scored a goal for Real Madrid in his last match with the team, after the Royal Club announced his departure at the end of his contract at the end of this month, to draw his team with Bilbao 1-1, in the 38th and final round of the Spanish Football League.
Bilbao took the lead through Oehin Sunset in the 49th minute, before Benzema equalized from a penalty kick in the 72nd minute.
Real Madrid raised its score to 78 points in second place, by ten points behind title-winning Barcelona, who plays later today, Sunday, with Celta Vigo, while Bilbao raised its score to 51 points in eighth place.
Osasuna secured qualification for the qualifying round for the European Conference League groups next season, after defeating its guest Girona 2-1.
Ante Budimir scored Osasuna’s goals in the 52nd and 55th minutes, while Reinier Jesus scored Girona’s only goal in the 75th minute.
Osasuna raised its tally to 53 points in seventh place, while Girona finished the season in tenth place with 49 points.
In the remaining matches of the round, Real Sociedad defeated its guest, Seville 2-1, and Villarreal and Atletico Madrid drew 2-2, while Mallorca defeated Rayo Vallecano 3-0.
