Benzema is competing with Messi for the 2022 FIFA Best Player award. In the award gala in Paris, Tuesday (28/2/2023) early morning WIB, the French striker did not come to the event, and then also lost.
Lionel Messi topped the voting to win the Best FIFA Men’s Player 2022 title. The Argentine beat Kylian Mbappe and Benzema.
Shortly after Messi won the title, Benzema made an upload on his Instastory. The Real Madrid forward uploaded a video of someone saying French, which means ‘Liar, yes, you are a Liar’

In the video, a caption ‘Goodnight’ is also written by Benzema. The video with the winged message has many people wondering.
Karim Benzema himself performed well throughout the 2021/2022 season. He brought Real Madrid to the LaLiga and Champions League championships, scoring a total of 44 goals in 46 matches. That performance also led him to win his first Ballon d’Or title.
