There are interesting facts before the Champions League final Liverpool vs Real Madrid last weekend. Madrid players are so relaxed, Karim Benzema just fun playing cards!
Real Madrid came out as champions of the Champions League after crushing Liverpool in Paris, Sunday (29/5) early morning WIB. Los Blancos won 1-0 through Vinicius Jr’s only goal in the 59th minute.
Madrid successfully established itself as the greatest team with a total of 14 wins. Liverpool had to bite their fingers, because they failed to avenge their defeat in the 2018 final.
One of the Real Madrid players, Daniel Ceballos revealed, some Madrid players are nervous ahead of final Liga Champions. This is natural, because playing in the top match with full pressure can squeeze full concentration.
But in fact, there is one interesting thing. Ceballos saw Madrid’s senior players were so relaxed!
Dani Ceballos said he saw Karim Benzema Dani Carvajal and Luka Modric were playing cards a few hours before the game!
“Benzema, Carvajal and Modric, they were playing cards a few hours before the game,” he explained ESPN.
“Wow, they’re so calm. I can’t even sleep at siesta time,” he added.
Real Madrid this season does have a combination of senior and junior players. They appear solid side by side.
There are players who are over 30 years old and continue to be a mainstay, some of them like Benzema (34 years), Modric (36 years), Kroos (32 years), Carvajal (30 years), Casemiro (30 years), and Marcelo (34 years).
These senior players have won five Champions League titles while wearing Los Blancos costumes. His calm and mentality, of course, is above the average of other players.
