Karim Benzema Barely Can Enter Stamford Bridge

Karim Benzema be a hero Real Madrid in the win at Chelsea. Before the match, Benzema apparently was threatened with not being able to enter the stadium.

Laga Chelsea vs Real Madrid in the first leg of the quarterfinals Champions League held at Stamford Bridge, Thursday (7/4/2022) early morning WIB. Los Blancos came home with a 3-1 win.

Karim Benzema became the star of Madrid’s victory. The French striker scored a hat-trick against Edouard Mendy.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti revealed that Benzema had barely managed to get into Stamford Bridge. The 34-year-old player forgot to put his entry card.

“Before the game, Benzema couldn’t find his entry card,” Ancelotti told AmazonPrime.

“I told him: ‘Hurry up or you can’t play!’ Luckily he found the cards.”

Through his goals against Chelsea, Karim Benzema means scoring a hat-trick in two consecutive Champions League matches. Previously, he also bought three goals against Paris Saint-Germain.

“Karim Benzema is getting better day by day, like fine wine,” Ancelotti praised the striker.

“Every day he becomes more and more a leader, he feels more and more important in this team and squad. And I think that’s what makes the difference,” he said.
