Egyptian actor Karim Abdel aziz is celebrating the success of his play, “Al-Pasha,” currently showing as part of the Riyadh Season in Saudi Arabia. The production’s run has been extended following an overwhelmingly positive response, a testament to its popularity.
In an interview with the “Arab wood” program, Abdel Aziz expressed his joy and pride at the decision by Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, to extend the play’s run. “My feeling is full of joy and pride, that Turki Al-Sheikh decides to extend the theatrical show from the second day,” he stated. Typically, a play’s extension is considered after its seventh day, making this early extension a significant indicator of success.
The play, which runs from December 25th, 2024 to January 1st, 2025, under the patronage of Counselor Al-Sheikh, boasts an impressive cast including Wizo, Heidi Karam, Hana Al Zahid, and Hatem Salah. Rami Imam directs,with songs written by Tamer Hussein,composed by Aziz Al Shafei,and produced by Alaa Al Ghazali.
