It has been several years since actress Kari Simonsen (85) retired from the National Theater and there is no doubt that she has earned the chance to enjoy retirement life.
Simonsen is one of the most famous and recognized actors we have in the country and is known from both theater, cinema and TV.
These days he is in Hong Kong to visit family. However, she didn’t go as planned.

– I have a shock
In a Facebook post, the 85-year-old writes that he has now had the maximum of bad luck. Dagbladet was allowed to quote the content of the post.
– Long planning and a lot of paperwork to travel to Hong Kong to say goodbye to my son and grandson. Two great days, but then you have to take an official Covid test on the third day. I got a shock when I was positive.
Now she has to be isolated in a room for seven full days and cannot be close to others.
– I don’t feel bad at all, but it doesn’t help, she adds, followed by a series of laughing emojis.
In an SMS to Dagbladet, he also writes:
“Thanks for having the internet and books, otherwise I would probably have gone mad.”

In private life she also managed to have a husband and children. In an interview with Look and listen in 2016, at the premiere of her friend Liv Ullmann’s project – Ingmar Bergman’s “Confidential Conversations” – she could, however, claim that there were some things she didn’t have time for.
