ShowbitsKaren Damen (49) and Peter Bulckaen (58) are both happily married, but in ‘Familie’ they – like their characters Vanessa and Mathias – tie the knot for a second time. “That way you relive it a bit,” says Karen, who was allowed to take out her own wedding dress again for the recordings. It was fun, but also puffing and sweating both on set and afterwards to keep it a secret. “We didn’t lie, we just kept quiet,” Karen defends herself to Showbits reporter Jarne.
