Actress Kareena Kapoor Dazzles in Designer Sarees
Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor continues to set fashion trends with her stunning saree selections. Recently, she captivated attention at two high-profile events, showcasing the timeless elegance of this traditional Indian garment.
For the prestigious Filmfare OTT Awards, where she was celebrated with the Best Actress award for her performance in "Jaane Jaan," Kapoor radiated glamour in a silver sequinned saree by renowned designer Sabyasachi. The traditional drape, with pleats at the front and a cascading pallu, was paired with a chic satin scoop-neck blouse. The sleeveless, backless design added a modern touch to the classic ensemble.
"Kareena Kapoor kept her accessories minimal yet striking, opting for diamond studs and rings," the actress’s stylist noted.
Completing the look was a sleek, slicked-back bun and radiant makeup featuring a dewy base, blush-pink lips and cheeks, kohl-rimmed eyes, arched brows and a touch of highlighter.
Prior to the award ceremony, Kapoor stunned in another saree creation. She attended her cousin Aadar Jain’s roka ceremony in Mumbai wearing a turquoise saree with gold accents from Anita Dongre’s collection. The Abjini printed georgette saree, adorned with nature-inspired motifs, gotapatti work, gold sequins and a zardozi border, was a true showstopper.
"Kareena paired it with a matching sleeveless blouse. The blouse had broad straps, a sweetheart neckline, gold sequins, zardozi embroidery and a hook closure at the back," recounts the stylist.
To complete the look, Kapoor accessorized with a beaded emerald choker, a matching layered emerald bracelet with gold and pearl embellishments, and an embroidered potli bag. Her hair was styled in a sleek, center-parted style, while her makeup included arched brows, sparkly eyeshadow, defined eyes with a wing, sculpted cheekbones, and luscious rose lip gloss.
