Although there is still no synopsis official of “Karate Kid: Legends”an exclusive trailer shown at New York Comic Con reveals that the film focuses on Li Fong (Ben Wang), a martial arts student who is under the tutelage of Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) y Mr. He (Jackie Chan).
We still don’t know how the paths of both characters crossed, but -obviously- we hope to see various training sequences, combination of combat styles, lots of action and all the ingredients that characterize the franchise.
In addition, it is likely that we can enjoy some nods to “Cobra Kai” and, who knows, maybe we’ll even find some unexpected cameo… considering that the serie ends with his season 6.

Jackie Chan: Sure! “Karate Kid: Legends” is a new film that brings together two legends of martial arts movies, Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio. It’s a direct sequel to the 1984 original “Karate Kid” movie, which follows the story of Daniel Larusso and his mentor Mr. Miyagi. In this new installment, Daniel returns as a mentor himself, training Li Fong, a young martial arts student who seeks to defend his dojo from a rival. The movie also ties into the “Cobra Kai” series on Netflix by featuring characters from both universes and hinting at an epic showdown.
What can fans expect from the storyline and characters in “Karate Kid: Legends”?

Ben Wang: Working with Jackie Chan was a dream come true! He’s an icon in the martial arts world, and it was amazing to watch him work on set. He’s incredibly skilled and dedicated to his craft. Additionally, he’s very humble and down to earth, which made working with him even more enjoyable. I learned a lot from him during filming, and I think our chemistry onscreen reflects the bond we formed off-screen.

Sadie Stanley: We can’t reveal everything, but there will definitely be some nods to the “Cobra Kai” series and perhaps even a few surprises along the
