Karanganyar Regency Government, Central Java, providing social assistance (social assistance) cash of IDR 300 thousand to hundreds of affected street vendors Emergency PPKM. “Yes, the source is from Baznas. The total is Rp. 300 million. Indeed, there is a post for disaster management, because Baznas is also instructed to respond to this disaster,” said Chairman of Baznas Karanganyar Sugiyarso when met by reporters in his office, Wednesday (21/7).
Sugiyarso said the aid funds were disbursed after Baznas coordinated with the Karanganyar Regency Government. Even so, his party admitted that they did not know anything about the inclusion of the name of the Regent’s wife in the cash assistance envelope.
“I haven’t checked. I don’t know yet. As for the Regent, he is indeed the Head of the COVID Management. The important thing is the agreement from Baznas. If you give up, other people can give up, “he explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of Disdagnakerkop and UKM Karanganyar, Martadi, admitted about the envelope bearing the names of the Regent and his wife. His party admitted that they were wrong and had changed the envelope used to distribute it social assistance the cash.
“I admit I lack control. I do not control that far. I thank you for being reminded,” said Martadi.
“During the distribution of social assistance on Monday (19/7) yesterday, as soon as I found out (about the envelope) I immediately stopped it, I replaced it. So not everyone got the envelope (with the names of the Regent and wife),” he added.
