We would like to congratulate GERB and BSP for the achieved result, but also all Bulgarian citizens who participated in these elections, as well as those who wanted to participate, but unfortunately could not, said Karadai at the beginning of his statement. We would also like to congratulate the DPS structures across the country, who put up an uphill battle, but the result is clear. We also thank the voters who supported us. We want to assure them that their vote did not go in vain, emphasized Karadayi.
At the moment, it is too early to comment on the future formulas, but it is clear that GERB will be the first political force and it will be the first to receive a mandate to form its third cabinet, the party leader continued. From DPS, we hope that GERB have learned a lesson from the two unfinished mandates. In our opinion, the problem lies in the formula for making up the majorities in the National Assembly. Now we would confirm our belief that there should be stability and security in Bulgaria, Karadai explained. To be sure, we have set the formula, and it is a value majority based on similarities in programs, he clarified.
For now, we are only commenting on estimated data and we would make more accurate analyzes when there are facts, the DPS leader pointed out.
Our fight was in a competitive environment with all the participants in this election. Yes, there is one peculiarity – you call them united patriots, we saw their actions through your cameras. And precisely because of these actions of theirs, the Council of Europe calls them fascists, he was categorical. About DOST – our institutions were playing hide and seek and the government helped them in some form, Karadai answered another question from the media in his short statement.
