He claimed to have been on Taylor Swift’s side when Scooter Braun bought her masters, praised both Swift and Beyoncé as inspirations to all musicians, and stated that he believes he has helped Swift’s career more than harmed it. However, he made it clear that he is neither Swift’s enemy nor her friend.
While West’s post may seem surprisingly cordial, it doesn’t change the fact that he has faced consequences for his actions. He complains about being banned from hotels, companies, and restaurants but fails to acknowledge that it is due to his antisemitism. He even brings up the removal of ‘Vultures 1’ from streaming platforms, suggesting a conspiracy related to the mistreatment of people of color. However, the truth is far less dramatic. The album was removed because it was never supposed to be released in the first place, violating the service agreement with the label distribution platform FUGA.
As of now, ‘Vultures 1’ remains available on Spotify, Amazon, and YouTube Music. The ongoing feud between Kanye West and Taylor Swift shows no signs of ending anytime soon.
