Kanye West says his album was released without his consent…

After a lot of delay, appeared on Sunday Donda, Kanye West’s new album, on the streaming services. Just hours after the release, the rapper announced that his label had released the album against his will.

A new Kanye West album rarely comes without a fight. Hours after fans breathed a sigh of relief at the release of Donda, the new studio album, West writes on Instagram that it came out against his will: “Universal released my album without my permission and they withheld Jail 2 from the album’. Originally stood Donda scheduled for July 22, but West pushed back the release date several times.

Universal Music, the rapper’s label, has not yet officially responded, but according to Variety Company sources call Kanye West’s claim “ridiculous.”

What’s going on with the number Jail pt. 2 is not clear either. That song was not added to the album on the streaming services until after its release. On social media, West would have insinuated that the management of rapper Dababy, who is responsible for some verses on the song, had not yet given permission for the collaboration. Streaming services often stop songs whose rights are not watertight.

In addition to Dababy, Marilyn Manson can also be heard on the song. That already led to fierce reactions on social media, when they both appeared at a listening session in Chicago. Dababy is under fire for homophobic statements. Manson has been accused of sexual abuse by several women. It’s probably no coincidence that Kanye West has them show up together.
