The rapper considers himself to be the king of culture for “the next 2000 years,” and compared it to oil, and himself to the Russian leader.
American rapper Canye West, who recently officially changed his name to Ye, compared himself to Russian President Vladimir Putin while recording the Drink Champs podcast.
The musician and designer said that he collaborates with well-known brands and has a great influence on them.
“Adidas, Gap – and I drive them. I am Putin. I am young Putin. I realized that I am like Vladimir (Putin) when I realized that culture is oil, culture is energy. And I am the king of culture in the last 20 years and I will continue to be for the next 2000 years, “West said.
The hosts of the podcast were amused by this comparison and they clarified whether the rapper was referring to the Russian president.
They also reminded Kanye that he is a black guy from Chicago, but West continued to insist on his resemblance to Putin.
We will remind, last year, Kanye posted several tweets in which he called himself the new Moses. He also posted a photo of Putin in judo training.
