Kanye West, who is now addressed as Ye, has filed an objection through his lawyer against the divorce petition from his wife Kim Kardashian.

The singer refuses to sign the divorce documents as long as all conditions are not officially on paper. Ye, for example, demands that he keep his money and possessions and that the custody of the children is arranged before he even signs anything.
Precisely with those conditions, Kim Kardashian West would not agree. Ye and his lawyer are asking the court to dismiss Kardashian’s divorce petition because “the motion does not provide the necessary protection for an early termination of marital status.”
West and Kardashian were married for six years, but in February 2021 she filed for divorce† Since then, the two have lived separately, but in the divorce proceedings there is but no shot.
