Uncertainty surrounding the album’s release was caused by a deleted announcement on Kanye’s YZY.com website. The rapper announced on it that the new album will be released on August 2, but after a few hours he deleted the release date.
The album contains 16 songs. The cover features rapper Ty Dolla $ign holding a portrait of another man. It features his brother Jabreal Muhammad, also known as Big TC, who is serving time for a murder he claims he did not commit.
