A shooting occurred in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, resulting in one death and more than 20 injuries. Some of the injuries were life-threatening. The police detained three people for investigation.
The incident occurred near Union Station in Kansas City during a parade celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory. The shooting occurred at the end of the parade, and people scurried to avoid it.
The police did not disclose the details of the detained persons, saying only that the motive of the gunman was not yet known. Several children were also injured in the incident, as young as 6 years old. A local radio station said a presenter was killed in the incident.
