Kanhangad DYFI activist stabbed to death

Kasargod: A DYFI activist was stabbed to death. Abdul Rahman, also known as Oof of Kanhangad Kalluravi, was killed. The slain OF is an executive member of the DYFI Kalluravi unit. The DYFI alleged that Muslim League activists were behind the incident. The deceased was 27 years old.

The Muslim League-DYFI clashes in the area had been going on for days following the local elections. A league activist was also injured in the clash. He was rushed to hospital. Kanhangad police are investigating. The LDF has called for a hartal in Kanhangad municipality tomorrow to protest the incident.
