Kangana Ranaut Finds Solace at Dwarkadhish Temple Following ‘Tejas’ Box Office Failure

Actress Kangana Ranaut visited the temple after the huge failure of her latest film ‘Tejasi’. Kangana wrote on the X platform that her heart has been troubled for a few days and she visited the temple to find peace. She also shared some pictures of her visit to the temple. Kangana Ranaut’s new film ‘Tejas’ has faced the biggest failure in her career in the last eight years. The film, which was made at a cost of 60 crores, earned only four and a half crore rupees in four days.

“My heart was very troubled for a few days and I felt like visiting Dwarkadhish, and as soon as I set foot in Dwarka, this divine city of Lord Krishna, all my worries seemed to vanish. My mind was fixed and I felt infinite joy. O Lord of Dwarka, may your blessings always be with me. Hare Krishna”. Kangana wrote while sharing pictures of the temple visit.

Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, ‘Tejas’ released in theaters on October 27. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the film was a colossal flop at the box office. Apart from Kangana, the film also stars Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Visakh Nair, Kashyap Shankari, Sunith Tandon, Rio Kapadia, Mohan Agache and Mushtaq Kak.

‘Tejas’ is Kangana’s 11th consecutive box office failure in the last eight years of her career. After her last hit Tanu Weds Manu in 2015, films like I Love NY, Katti Butti, Rangoon, Simran, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Judgmental Hai Kya were consecutive flops.

Before this, the Tamil film ‘Chandramukhi 2’, in which Kangana played the lead role, was a huge failure at the box office. In 2022, Kangana’s Hindi film Dhakkad was also a disaster. 85 crores, the film earned a total of Rs 4 crores.
