A woman in her 50s who suddenly became brain dead became a star in the sky after donating organs to five people as a gift of new life.

The Korea Organ Organ Donation Agency announced on the 30th that 58-year-old Kang Mi-ok donated his heart, lungs, liver, and left and right kidneys to five people at Samsung Seoul Hospital on the 26th of last month.

While working on the 22nd of last month, Mr. Kang suddenly lost consciousness and fell and became brain dead.

The family agreed to the donation according to Kang’s wishes during his lifetime, saying, ‘I want to donate organs in case of brain death due to an unexpected accident.’

According to the bereaved family, Mr. Kang was born in Yeongdeok, North Gyeongsang Province, the sixth of five boys and two girls, and was a bright, lively and warm person.

Kang lost her husband when her daughter, Lee Jin-ah, was in the 4th grade of elementary school.

Since then, Mr. Kang’s eldest daughter also died in an accident at the age of 22, and Mr. Kang and Mr. Jin-ah said they have lived with each other as everything in the world.

Ms. Jin-ah revealed the reason for her decision to donate, saying, “There were only my mother and I left in this world, but it seems that my mother went through hardships and left. I hope she will live a healthy and enjoyable life in heaven.”

Jina said her last goodbye to her mother, who left first, saying, “Do not get sick with your father and sister in heaven and be well.”
