Kang Hye-kyung, Kim Young-sun’s former People Power Party lawmaker and accounting manager, appeared as a witness at the National Assembly’s Investigative Committee today and made a concise statement.
Mr Kang, who released a recording of Myung Tae-gyun saying that former lawmaker Kim Young-sun’s nomination was made possible by First Lady Kim Kun-hee, said after Myung’s words a heard, he came to believe that Mrs. Kim was involved in the nomination.

Kang Hye-kyung, former lawmaker Kim Young-sun’s aide and head of accounting, appeared as a witness at the National Assembly’s Investigative Committee.

Mr. Kang said that Myeong Tae-gyun, who worked with him at the Korea Future Research Institute, often told him about the upbringing of First Lady Kim Kun-hee.

Mr. Kang directly raised suspicions that First Lady Kim Kun-hee was involved in the nomination of former lawmaker Kim Young-sun.
