The project had seduced New Zealand rugby greats, mostly former All Blacks. Before aiming for the southern hemisphere championship, Kanaloa Hawaii, that’s its name, wanted to join the Major League Rugby American by 2021. The two parties had been in exclusive negotiations for several weeks. These unfortunately did not lead to an agreement. Kanaloa Hawaii had 90 days to finalize the terms of the deal and meet the necessary criteria before their membership was officially ratified. The deadline has now passed. What could possibly do the business of the Jaguares, on the way to leave Super Rugby because of the will of New Zealand to create a new competition reserved for the local franchises even Australian.
