The UFC champion, Kamaru Usman, has clarified the comments about the strong words he expressed on social networks.
Reigning Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman (20-1 MMA) recently shared some strong words for his followers on Snapchat:
“Whoever you are watching my story, please hang yourself. 2022 has just begun and your life is focused on others. Better yet, KILL yourself. HAVE FUN LOOKING AT MY LIFE AND NOT YOURS!” – wrote Kamaru Usman.
A few hours later, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ returned to social media where he clarified those comments. He claimed that his words were only meant for specific people who spread negativity on his profile.
“Let me clear this up. I know that was hard. Hey, it was 4 am in the morning. Obviously I spelled it wrong. Let me rephrase this. For that hater, you already know who you are. That particular enemy. One or maybe two of you, who keep watching my stories so you can have something to say with hate, hang yourselves! But for the rest of my fans, my real real fans, I love and appreciate you. I always have and always will.”
Kamaru Usman recently competed at November’s UFC 268 event, where for the second time in his career he defeated Colby Covington. Usman successfully defended the world welterweight title.
The win marked Usman’s 19th straight, a streak that includes five consecutive title defenses.
