Trump’s comments, he said, undermine the authority that the United States has hired to discuss issues such as democracy and the rule of law.

The campaign of the 78-year-old man was characterized by the use of harsh language and claims that often did not correspond to reality, especially on the main issue of the election, which is immigration.

Trump compared undocumented migrants to animals. He threatened revenge against his enemies, praised autocrats like Russia’s Vladimir Putin, and portrayed the United States as a broken country that could only be repaired.
