Kharmach closed the third edition of the annual review with a passionate speech about the responsibilities of the government to care for citizens as parents do for their children. “You know when I’ve failed as a daddy? When my daughter can’t be naive anymore. It is exactly the same with the government. Only if we feel safe enough with our parents, with our government, will we be strong enough as a society to raise a new generation.”
