Ukraine, which at the international song contest Eurovision 2022 will be represented by the Kalush Orchestra with the song “Stefania”, by a wide margin took first place in the forecasts of bookmakers. Italy, which was predicted to win, was left behind, trailing by 8%.
The corresponding statistics appeared on the official site Eurovision World. Note that for the first time Ukraine rose to the leading position in the rankings on March 26, but the difference between gold and silver then was only 1% (Scroll to the bottom of the page to see photos.)
The bookmakers are currently evaluating the chances of Ukraine in the first place in 25%. The probability of Italy winning, in turn, estimated at 17%.
Next on the list were Sweden (6%), Greece, Switzerland, Poland and Norway (4%), Australia and Belgium (3%), etc.

Prior to this, several countries, including Ukraine, asked the European Linguistic Union not to allow the participation of the Russian Federation.
As you know, the competition will be held in May 2022 in the Italian city of Turin. The Kalush Orchestra will fight for victory with the composition “Stefania”, dedicated to the mother of the band’s frontman Oleg Psyuk.
