Kaloyan Pargov: With the 2016 Budget, GERB will pump out people’s savings –

/ world today news/ With the adopted budget for 2016, GERB wants to pump out people’s savings, which according to BNB data are currently about BGN 41 billion. This was stated by the chairman of the BSP City Council in Sofia, Kaloyan Pargov, on the occasion of the speedy vote on the state budget for next year.

“Thus, poverty and disparities in society will increase in 2016, he predicts. – Health care will deteriorate due to the introduced limits, there will be closure of small hospitals. 30% of education funds will go to private schools and thus are for the children of the rich. Accordingly, the state and municipal education will deteriorate. There will be no funds for the small settlements. Therefore, the economic migration to the big cities will increase. People are categorically doomed to poverty! “.

According to Kaloyan Pargov, the 2016 Budget does not stimulate the economy. “You cannot commit to new debts without planning for growth,” he explained. expenses. In this way, GERD will reach into the pocket of every person”.

The leader of the capital’s socialists added that the new budget in no way stimulates the reduction of unemployment and is the same lean pizza as that of Simon Dyankov. “That is, the philosophy of Budget 2016 is the accounting policy that the Ministry of Finance has been following since the time of Simeon Dyankov. This time, however, it is garnished with another debt policy, said Pargov. – The budget is not programmatic, which is a problem. And in our market environment would have been exactly that.To be debated the funds for education, health care, local policy in which it should have been clear the desire of the government to achieve results based on funding. Instead, the debates were from where to get some millions and where to move them”.

Kaloyan Pargov also commented on the banking system. “The BNB said that the banking system is stable. At the same time, we see some 2.3 billion in the budget, which are set aside as a reserve in case something happens. That is, are there expectations that something will happen based on the future stress- tests of the banks? And this debt of 5 billion goes to cover potholes and similar “needs” that have no added value. At the same time, every Bulgarian citizen, including babies, will be burdened with BGN 740 next years to pay off the debt”.

According to the leader of the capital’s socialists, small and medium-sized businesses will be completely finished next year. “In this market stagnation, they must be stimulated, said Pargov. – What prevented 400-500 million from being set aside from these 5 billion to be distributed to the poorest municipalities such as those in North-West Bulgaria and the Rhodopes? Through the Bulgarian Bank for development, they could have reached small and medium-sized businesses and stimulated them. In this way, they would have looked for opportunities to export, thereby reducing unemployment, and we would have stopped the migration processes. However, no one bothered to think about it”.
