/ world today news/ In this difficult geopolitical situation, in a time of military conflict that may affect us, Prime Minister Kiril Petkov’s decision to demand the resignation of Defense Minister General Stefan Yanev for defending the Bulgarian national interest is dangerous. This is what Kaloyan Pargov says in his position.
According to him, it is extremely alarming and wrong for the government to lightly release its minister – a Bulgarian patriot and a respected general who enjoys the enormous support of the people.
“Such an action will have lasting consequences for Bulgaria and for our national security,” believes Pargov.
He points out that General Stefan Yanev is a worthy officer and minister, who proved as acting prime minister in two terms that he can defend Bulgarian interests.
“The position he defends is strong and nationally responsible, worthy of a Bulgarian defense minister. With her, he proved that he is a true patriot and a professional who can fulfill his mission. It would be irresponsible at this moment for Prime Minister Petkov to ask for his resignation and to remove him,” the socialist is emphatic.
“The BSP should not allow the release of General Stefan Yanev from the post of Minister of Defense,” urged Kaloyan Pargov.
