Kaloyan Pargov: Let’s make Bulgaria a “state of the spirit” again – 2024-09-23 08:21:13

/ world today news/ May 24th is in the soul and heart of every Bulgarian, said the leader of the BSP – Sofia

Let’s make Bulgaria a “state of the spirit” again. This is what the leader of BSP – Sofia and chairman of the group of socialists in SOS Kaloyan Pargov wished on the occasion of the Day of Bulgarian Education, Culture and Slavic Writing. He, together with members of the Executive Bureau of the City Organization, municipal councilors and people’s representatives from the BSP, presented flowers and wreaths in front of the monument of St. St. Cyril and Methodius in front of the National Library in the capital.

Pargov pointed out that we have something to be proud of as a nation. “We know what we need to preserve and develop – education, science and culture,” he added.

“The festival of letters this year is different – the big celebrations have been cancelled, there will be no processions in the streets, there will be no school celebrations. But all this cannot darken it, noted the chairman of the Sofia organization of the BSP – May 24 is in the soul and heart of every Bulgarian – we honor the work of the Holy Brothers Cyril and Methodius”.

Kaloyan Pargov thanked the Bulgarian teachers and university professors: “They showed that even in difficult times, even from a distance, they are irrevocably by their graduates and continue to lead them on the path of enlightenment. Bow!”.

He expressed respect for Bulgarian scientists and researchers: “We realized that we need science to deal with the challenges we are facing. Respect!”

The leader of the BSP – Sofia expressed sympathy with the people of culture: “Now the artists, set designers, directors, actors, singers, musicians and dancers are deprived of the opportunity to be with their audience. They should receive our support and feel our great eagerness to touch their art again. Courage!”

“Gratitude to all Bulgarian writers, poets, screenwriters and journalists who handle our strongest weapons – our language and writing. Honor and respect! The word is hope in times of trials”, said Kaloyan Pargov categorically.
