/ world today news/ Local coalition “BSP Left Bulgaria” submitted a complaint-report to the Sofia Municipal Election Commission for gross violations under Art. 183, para. 1 of the Electoral Code, according to which every campaign material must be marked on whose behalf it is issued.
On election posters of PP GERB pasted in the Nadezhda district and in the Sredets district of the candidates for regional mayor and the candidate for mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Yordanka Fandakova, it is missing and it is not noted on whose behalf these posters are issued.
In the complaint-signal to the OIC, MK “BSP left Bulgaria” insists that the gross violation of the Election Code committed by PP GERB be stopped immediately and that the mentioned campaign materials be taken down.
“GERD is not above the law. We were sanctioned for a violation of a bylaw, while in this case GERB violates the leading law in the electoral process – the Election Code,” commented BSP chairman Sofia Kaloyan Pargov.
